Incumbents typically use computer applications for word processing, spreadsheets, databases, graphics, web page content preparation, or scheduling.
Other skills typically include the use of a programmable telephone system, audiovisual equipment, or the Internet.
Incumbents must have the ability to exercise independent judgment and exercise discretion regarding confidential matters.
May also perform administrative duties for the other departments including Marketing & Sales, Operations, Quality, Engineering, Finance, etc.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Performs administrative/clerical duties such as receptionist, data entry, filing, copying, scanning, etc.
Greets and assists internal and external customers in a pleasant and professional manner; Maintains documents (e.
g.
customer orders, blueprints, specifications, and electronic data); Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports; Manages electronic communication board; Participates in the corporate Engagement committee; Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner; Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
Recruits, phone interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Generating official internal documents such as offer letters, benefit eligibility letters, or other official documents.
Conducts or acquires background checks and employment eligibility verifications.
Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Overlooks administration of leaves, compensations, and benefits.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Files EEO-1 reports annually; maintain other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
Performs administrative/clerical duties such as receptionist, data entry, filing, copying, scanning, etc.
Develop interesting HR programs and keep employees engaged.
Greets and assists internal and external customers in a professional manner.
Sits in meetings as a note-taker and must have a strong understanding of confidentiality; Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Skills & Experience High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred an Associates Degree Additional qualifications as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus Proficient keyboarding skills of 50 wpm.
Ability to successfully navigate in Windows software applications.
Must present a professional and pleasant demeanor with customers.
Good communication and organizational skills are required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
